    Macro - Filter by scheme

I am really frustrated. I cannot do the simplest things. I am reading and reading, and the speed is too slow. Question: I have an open form. In that form I want a control to do a macro. The task is the following events: Home>Advanced>Filter by scheme. The first event in the macro should be to empty the form. HOW DO I DO IT???!!

    Regards Erik L.

What do you mean by 'empty the form'? Is the form bound?

I don't like nor use macros, only VBA.

Do you want to provide project for analysis?

I have a bound form. This form contain a control that start a “Filter by form” action by activating a macro (DoMenuCommand> “FilterByRecord”).
I type my search criterion in the field of interest. To do the search I have to press “Activate/Deactivate filter” by using the mouse. However, I want to start the search from the Keyboard. Do you have any idea on how to solve it?

In my old version of Access (2002) this was easily done by using a combination of shortcut keys each identifying a specific action.

Like I said, I don't use macros, only VBA, so I can't visualize this. Need to analyse the project if you want to provide it.

Presume shortcut keys did not carry over in the upgrade? I never used 2002, how did you set up the shortcuts? Can't recreate them?
