help with a report problem

Hello.

I have one table which I need to create a report. This report will only be counting information then showing it in sentence form. This part is not what I'm having a problem with. The problem is this:

For one of the things I want to count, will only be able to be counted when after the criteria I decide are set into place. However, I can't just set the criteria of the table to this, as I need the information in this same field before the criteria. Also, I don't want to take a chance of messing up the information already present in the Table.

This is an example:


Field: Student Response
Data:


1. Accepted
1. Accepted
4. No Show
4. No Show
1. Accepted


Count = 5

5 answers recieved


Before criteria. After critreria...

1. Accepted
1. Accepted
1. Accepted

Count = 3

Of the answers recieved, 3 have accepted their eligible degree.

You want to be able to show both the total count of responses and the total count of Accepted? Do you want report to show the detail records?

Can have a textbox in footer section that will count if record meets condition of Accepted: =Sum(IIf([Student Response]="Accepted",1,0))
