Subtotal on Query

I have 2 tables, one with contact info and the other with invoice info. I designed a query that compiles the two tables. My problem is one customer may have several invoices. I am trying to get my query to subtotal invoices per client. I can do it with a report, but I would like to accomplish it with a query...because I have to export it to Excel to send to some other people in the office.
