Query additional information - Sub Query?

    Hi everyone,

I have a query which shows candidates and the points they have gained on certain criteria's as well as their total points. I don't want to have a long query with lots of other data but wanted to know whether it would be possible to hover over a record or click the add sign and something pops down/up to give the candidates contact details, i.e. phone/mobile numbers and address which is on the main table?

Can anyone help? I have tried to search for sub queries but no luck.

I have just noticed the sub-data sheet but it shows all contact details rather then for one particular candidate.

Don't understand why the subdatasheet would show all candidates. You are interacting directly with tables and queries? Can have better control by use of forms and reports and make display look better too.

Yes I have a table with primary key and contact details but instead of just the one individual contact detail appearing when the plus sign is clicked everyone's contact details appear?

What is the table you are clicking on? Give some info on data strcture and relationships or provide project for analysis. Copy and remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip if large, attach to post. Attachment manager is below the Advanced post editor.

One last question before I do that, could I use data sheets for queries or is it just for tables?

Do you mean can form be in Datasheet view if the RecordSource is a query? Yes.
