    Auto Resizing Grid Control

I am looking for a grid control in Access that will show:

    - Project Title on top line (similar to merging cells in excel)
    - Directly below is divided into 3 sections
-Main topic that spans the height of all children and grandchildren adjacent to it, number of parents, children for each parent and grandchildren for each child are unknown this also needs to automatically resize according to content of each cell so final layout is displayed as:
    - Ability to display pop up comments similar to excel functionality
    - Each cell supports rich text content

    __________________________________________________ ________________________
    | Project Title
    __________________________________________________ ________________________
    | Parent 1 |Child 1.1 |Grandchild 1.1.1
    | |______________________|__________________________ _____
    | |Child 1.2 |Grandchild 1.2.1
    |___________________|______________________|______ ________________________
Multiple Children for each parent and multiple grandchildren for each child. I also need to populate this control with a single recordset from a datasource that is already created. Most importantly as the text changes for one field the other fields have to auto adjust to maintain the display configuration.

Never seen anything like this. The only thing I can see in Access that might offer solution is an ActiveX control called ComponentOne FlexGrid 7.1 (Light).
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
