Combo box list updated based on another selection in Datasheet view.

Hello! I'm looking for some help setting up a form.

I have a ProjectTeam table, which includes 4 columns- ID, RoleID, CompanyID, PersonID.

I have other tables for storing the company info, and people info. All of my contacts are in the people table, and the people table has a field for CompanyID.

What I'm trying to do is create a form for use in data sheet view, where a user can select a company from a combobox, and then select a person from another combobox. I want the list of people in the person combobox to be filtered to only include people who have the same companyID, but i'm not sure how to do it.

Thanks in advance for your help!

    You want cascading (dependent) comboboxes.

Review tutorials at http://datapigtechnologies.com/AccessMain.htm especially the 3 on comboboxes in Access Forms: Control Basics section.

If the comboboxes are multi-column, they will work but might not like the effect in Continuous or Datasheet view.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
