    Reserved error (-1104)?

I am having trouble finding information on this error. Does anyone have any info on it? When it is populated, no description appears.

I do not get the error, but another user has.

Not positive, but it sounds like you have multiple users accessing the same database and there is some contention for resource(s).
Is this a multiuser database? Has the database been split? Does each user have their own Front end?

    The database is split.
Each user SHOULD have a copy of the front end on their desktop.

Would it cause the issue if they were working from the email the database was delivered to them by? On a release to another team, some were doing that instead of putting it on their desktop so I had to correct them and show them how.

Each user should have their own front end. I have seen posts where users were sharing a front end on a server and had "lock out issues. So, separate front ends seems to be the answer.
    Good luck.

The front end is only available via email. They are supposed to save that front end to their desktop. So each person should have their own. I don't have the resource to go around to each work station and make sure it is on their desktop (some are teleworkers) It is not available on the server.

I had the locking issue from records being held and adding when the form is closed. I did fix that issue. No one has locked in weeks.

    Thanks for the input.

If you happen to figure out what the -1104 error is described as, let me know! Can't even find it in my books.

There doesn't seem to be a consensus on the reason for the error, but here is a list of links from google
