Finding the Max Date and Null Values if Null

I have a query which pulls the most recent date using the Max function. I also want to pull the records that have a Null value in that date field.

How do I go about doing both of these in the same query?

A quick solution may be to run two queries. One for the max value and the other for all nulls. Then create a Union Query of the two. Once completed, you would then only have to open the Union Query as it is dependent on the other two and would update as run.
