    problem with insert/update a date/time field

    Hi everyone,

    I have a problem with insert/update records.

I have 2 tables with different date/time fields.

One table it works fine: a column with the date (dd/mm/yyyy) and a column with the time (hh:mm:ss) => here the dates works fine

My seconde table have 3 columns with date/time fields.
Since 26 january I'm missing one character from my date.

    It always worked well : dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm:ss
Now the years have only 3 characters: dd/mm/yyy hh:mm:ss

I work with Access 2002 and the database works on a Windows 2000.

Have anyone an idea why this happens?

    Greets

I have never seen dates where year shows only 3 characters. Can display 2 or 4 characters by formatting, 1 or 3 will return wrong value.

Is the field actually a date/time datatype?

How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

    Hi,

I've found it. I put this dates with Cicode (Citect Scada) in the database. The problem was in the Cicode, not in the database.

    Thanks
