    Columns

One puzzlement. I have a report (Actually, it's a subreport so it's pretty basic - a detail section and one field.

I want the information displayed in three columns, which is fine - as long as I set the columns up as "Across then down". I get eight pieces of data in three columns.

Yet as soon as I set it to "Down then across", it just outputs the data in one column. At first I thought I'd messed up the width settings, but if I switch back to "Across then down", it displays in columns again.

    Any ideas why?

Would have to analyze the report if you want to provide the project.

I have one report with Down then Across setting and it works fine, but it is not a subreport.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
