Question Subreport on form. sum() not working well?

    Hey

I have a form which has two subreports on it, each with a column of numbers (Currency) and a totals bit at the bottom which adds up the values added.

I have used the me.Refresh command alot, and new lines in the reports show up, but for some reason the totals box at the bottom only shows its contents if you click in it....

Anyone know why this might be.

It worked before, but then I added a text box on the top of each of the forms in the database with the scrolling marquee effect and now it is not working and I don't know why, the total is there, but only visable if you click on the box containing the total.

    Any help would be appreciated

    Sam

I'm not clear on whether you are working with a form and subforms,

reports and subreports, or as is suggested by your post, a form with subreports. Assuming that you do indeed have a subreport, I would suspect your problem is somehow connected with the reformat event. In other words, your scrolling banner is effectively preventing the subreport from being finalized, so the focus stays on the banner unless you click on the box.
I haven't worked with it in a long time so all I can suggest is that you google "Access reformat" and "Access SetFocus".
