    Unlocking an Access database?

In early December I set up the first version of an Access database for the first time in 2007. All was going O.K. and seemed to be working very well.

During this time I locked down/disabled the ability to 'Save' my database by users, hiding many tables and such.
How do I reactivate these or make them visible. It has been so long that I don't know what I did over a month ago (I was pulled on to a different project then went on Training!).

I have pressed the F11 key which worked to a certain extent and revealled the left hand menus but the Save button is still missing. I have not used Macros as they remain a little above me!

    Any ideas...?!
    Thanks so much!

    Post Update

Nope, sadly that didn't do it.

I am familiar with the hiding of button using the Navigation pane. However, I set up some macros last month and that seems to have hidden all my options behind the Office button also!

I have deleted the macros in the attempt to undo this lock-down but it still doesn't seem to work. This seems more elaborate than first thought!

Any other ideas or suggestions, gratefully received.

Does everything come back when you open the db while holding down a <SHIFT> key?

    Thumbs up Fixed it!

Hooray, that did it! Thanks RuralGuy!

I can see how dangerous it is to work on this, get called awway to work on something else and then forget where you were!

Are you able to explain how I have managed to lock all this down please, for future reference.

(I will then make this as 'solved').

There are several options that when unchecked will limit features in the db. Now that you know how to bypass them you can play around with them and see what each one does.
