Making Fields Required Based on Input in Another Field

Is it possible to make a number of fields in a form required based on what a user enters in another field on the same form or subform?

    Thank you.

I'd use the before update event of the form:

First testing the other field, then the optionally required fields if appropriate.

No problem; post back if you get stuck.
