    Limit Lookup (Foreign Key)

Hello, I am putting together a small database to store orders, part of this is to specify card payment on the order form (I am assuming a customer may have several cards). I would like to have a dropdown menu that will show the cards that have already been entered for the customer. I have tried to use a lookup, but the resulting dropdown menu will show all the cards that have been entered, I would like just to show the cards for the specific customer.

I would very much appreciate your help on this.

This is for academic purposes - I dont need to worry about actually storing card detail.

    Thanks

You need dependent (cascading) comboboxes. Check the 3 tutorials on comboboxes here http://datapigtechnologies.com/AccessMain.htm in the section Access Forms: Control Basics.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
