First, what type of query are you running? If you are running a SELECT query then why run it if you are not going to display the results? Running a SELECT query does not change or remove data.

I am running query for input one chart in report.because i filter query by a text box on form, when i run report,i receive an error.for this reason first i run query an create a MAKEtable query to input for that chart.

I have not worked with charts in Access much, so I may not be the best resource. Is the chart in the report dependent on a separate record source then the main report?

Using the Make table query is probably not the best approach since you would be duplicating data that is already present in the database.

Can you provide more details about the query, how you have your form with the text box set up? Or if you want can you zip and post of copy of the database that will generate the error? If you post the database make sure to remove/replace any sensitive information.

After playing around with your database, I came to the conclusion that passing a parameter to a crosstab query was the issue.

To correct the issue, I decided to dynamically build the query with the date selected in the combo box directly in code behind the button on your form. The code then saves the query as qryForGraph. I changed the row source of the chart object to this query.

Each time you click the button the query is rebuilt with the date selected from the combo box.

    The revised database is attached.

You will need to clarify what you mean. If you mean to make the depth the vertical axis and the displacement the horizontal axis, that will take a rework of the crosstab query. Is that what you need?

As I mentioned before, I am not very good with charts in Access, but I went ahead and tried redoing the chart with the axes swapped. Check out form2 in the attached.

Feel free to change the chart type, the query should remain the same.
