    Problem creating a simple query

    Hi there,

Im used to using access but have never really created anything in there so I was wondering if some one may be able to help me set up a simple query?

I have 5 tables. in each table the first column is a date and is titled date. Column 12 is titled Total and contains a number. What im after is a query to so for the list of dates the total of all 5 columns.

Any help or a puch in the right direction will be much appreciated

    Thanks in advance Mark

    Sorry my fat fingers!

I will try and explain again. I've got 5 tables of data. In each of the 5 tables there are 12 columns all are identical. Column 1 contains dates, Column 12 is titled total. I would like a query that for every date it would add up the column total in each table (ie "Table1 Total" + "Table2 Total" + etc)

    Thanks again
