Copy and Paste Format From Excel (attached)

I am having trouble pasting this data into an access table.

I want it to maintain the format that I see in excel, but it ends up converting it back to what I have written in the formula bar.

How can I paste this data into access while keeping the data format?

    Thank you!

    (please see attached)

I think that you will need to convert the file to a .txt file and then import all the data as text if you want to maintain the data formats in your table. Access recognizes the date serial numbers in a similar fashion that Excel does and stores the data in that manner. It is a format issue for presentation and not a storage issue.
