Text/Combo boxes and Check box PLEASE help!!!!

I really need help with this. Please respond



I have a database that has 3 different boxes. 1.WritingCode 2.RepName 3.AgencyCode. The Value of all 3 come from a table (RepList). I would like to do 2 things.

1. If a user inputs the WritingCode it will populate the other two. If the user doesn't know the WritingCode I would like for it to populate the writingcode and the AgencyCode based on the RepName.

2. I would like a checkbox that when clicked will copy the RepName to another textbox.

What do you mean by this:

. . . what are 'boxes'? Do you mean 'fields'?
If so - are the fields on a Form?

I saw this post yesterday but didn't reply because I couldn't understand what you were trying to say.

Hey Robeen thanks for responding. I actually was able to figure it out on my own. I actually meant fields but since I made them into boxes I thought it was more appropiate to refer to them as such. But I would like suggestions on books I can educate myself on VBA coding. If you know of any please let me know.

I found what I looked at very helpful.

I didn't need to go into the VBA section - but it does have a chapter on Programming & VBA. If it's as good as what I looked at - it should be helpful.
