Is all that data already in an Access Table?

    2.
In your Excel screenshot, what does "$D$11" mean?

I'm pretty certain it should be easy to do this in Access [even though I don't know what "$D$11" means.

The $D$11 means sum of colun D (Sum of MH_Tgt), so the formula on each cell in column E=MH_Tgt/Sum(MH_Tgt). Must always be divided by the sum of MH_Tgt. Thanks for initial reply Roobin.
The data is already on accesss....

If your Table looks Just like your Excel spreadsheet in yoru screenshot then:
I have attached two screenshots Steps 1-3, and Steps 4-5.
See if you can figure it out from teh screenshots.
If not - I'll give you some directions.

Thanks Robeen... this is great, i never thought that the query is as simple as this. it's really great.. helps me a lot... and yes i can follow based on the screenshot. Just one more thing, i noticed that you have 2 tabs on the second screenshot - (one is QrySum_MH_Tgt and other is QryWTFact). how do you do it? I'm using access 2007.. are we suing the same version? Thank you once again Robeen..

I am using Access 2010 - but I think you can do this too.
My Queries are Maximized in the Query Design window.
When I open a new query without closing the one that was already open, the two queries are automatically tabbed.
