On No Data event for sub-reports

I have several reports placed together in an overall report. In the subreports, the On No Data event is set to display a text box that says "None." These text boxes display in each subreport, but not in the master report. Is there a way to display to turn the On No Data events on for each subreport when the master report is loaded?

Your question is conflicting... first you say the "None" shows on the subreports but not the main report. Then, you say is there a way to turn on the "On No Data" event for subreports. Where is it working? Where is it not working? Where do you want it working?

Sorry for the confusion. The text "None" displays if the subreport is opened independently (not in the main report). When the main report is opened, the text in the subreport does not display. I would like the text in the subreport to still display when it is shown in the subreport...
But as a follow up: I've further read that this is not possible. Instead, I've used the HasData in the main report to turn text boxes on and off as needed.

    Example: SubReportName.Report.HasData=Me.txtNone.Visible
