You mean filter the data by a range? Include criteria in the query.

Don't understand. A pivot chart uses data from tables. You limit the chart's data by filtering.

I don't know what 'statistic Process control charts' are.

You want to provide illustrations, sample data?

well, sorry may i am not able to explain you.

let me take some data for ur review.

we have every day readings like Moisture% which is 2.0,1.6,2.3,4.5,6.4
i capture this data by Access 2007 database and then create Pivot Chart but just to show in chart we need to fix some limits like 1.5 is Lowest limit and 4.00 is highest limit which will be just a line on values axis gridlines at scale of 2 and other one on scale 4.

i hope it will help now to understand.

    thanks

You can use VBA code to dynamically set the axis scale range and major and minor ticks. I have several graphs in project I do this with. You can download the project from link in this thread http://forums.aspfree.com/microsoft-...hs-445065.html

If you limit the scale range to 2 to 4 then the data of 1.6, 4.5 and 6.4 would not display.
