You can have a VehicleServices subform on your form that looks like this:

    Service Date Completed
    Air Filter 1/1/2011
    Oil Change 2/1/2011
    etc...

With the way you are headed with the Services table as it is, there will be trouble down the road.
Opps, by the way I'm I using a junction table or not at this stage?

    Talking could not wait

Don't mind the formatting at this time. Take a look at relationships and tables. It seems to be working as I think it should so far.

I don't understand tblService2. This could all be done in tblVehicleServices.

Am I correct in saying that all Fields in tblServices are "Date"

In this setup I'm using the tblService2 table to hold the info on services done and date completed. I need to create a drop down box for the ServiceDescription field as to aid in choice.

The tblVehihicles table holds the Vehicle details, such as part numbers and capacities.

The old way was using the tblServices table which was flaged as not the best way, why? unknown to my knowledge at this time.

pdebates and I are giving conflicting opinions.

I suggest you just follow one. Peter has a good reputation so I will bail out for a little.

If you need I am available. But I would like a copy of your Database to play with.

I would prefer 2003 but I can also handle 2007 if I have to.

Yes, I noticed we were all swirling around abit, but I just kept plugging away and with your guys help think I have it working enough for now. There are other ideas which may break it butthat half the fun right.

As for copy I'm fully 2010 and I looked and seen no backword save.

There is something in the top left hand corner of your screen that will allow conversions.

    Try File Save AS.
