    SQL Backend

I have just learned that i will need to create a new table that will have 15000 records added daily. i am thinking of moving my back end to SQL, as i believe this can handle much more records than an MS Access back end.

My problem is, i have no idea on using SQL, what sofware would i need to create the Back end, and would i need to install anything on my users workstations for an MS Access front end to access the SQL Back end ?

You can actually download a free version of the MS SQL Express 2008 from the Microsoft website. Once you have your tables set up in SQL, you then create odbc connections where Access can use the data. You can also use the Access Data Project (ADP) in Access to have direct link to the SQL backend
