    Convert Database

I was wondering if there was a way to cycle through a directory like c:\Test\ and convert all 2000 databases in the directory to 2007. So the folder would contain access2000 database and a access2007 database. Can someone help me with a way to automate this?

Is there some feature of Access 2007 that you need because ac2007 has no problem with ac2000 mdb's?

Just trying to upgrade from Access2000 to Access2007. And we have had issues with people running Access2007 open an Acccess2000 database with no issues, but when a Access2000 user opens the same database it crashes. So we are trying to update all databases to Access20007.

I don't know if there is an automated way to do what you want. Unless you are also updating all of your users to ac2007 then what you propose will have its own issues.

All users will be updated to 2007 as well. Step 1 push access 2007 to all pc's...step 2 convert all databses.

I strongly suspect if you do Step 1, you will not need to do Step 2.

I completely agree. If we can find/write a process that will automate this process, we will this weekend, if not we will have to postpone for a little bit.
