    I have a text box that is being populated based on a combo box. I now need the this text box now to update another text box. I have tried the following but I get nothing. What I am I mot doing because of my lack of knowledge,

    Private Sub NUM_OF_PAIRS_AfterUpdate()
    Me.NUM_OF_CASES = (Me.NUM_OF_PAIRS /6)

    I think you have a syntax problem.

    Why do you need to save the calculated value? This calculation could be done on report.

    Is NUM_OF_CASES a field included in the form's RecordSource?

    Either syntax should work. The dot of Me. will provoke intellisense popup tips.
