Question How to set the “Default Column width” to be in Metric units?

How to set the “Default Column width” to be in Metric units?
Please, see the attached screenshot that shows my question
I wanted to switch the “Default Column width” to be in metric units but sounds that there is no option. In return, in Word, we can set the unit we need from the “Show measurements in units of” (see screenshot)
Why we don’t have the same option in Access?
    Thank you in advance,
    Regards
    Jamal

I tested this by typing 1cm in that setting and Access immediately did conversion to 0.3938". Newly created table opened with columns 1cm wide, or as close as the conversion calc could get with 4 decimal places.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
