Exchange calendar appointments

So I'm aware that there is standard vba programming that can add an appointment to the default outlook calendar, but for my work I would like to be able to add an appointment to a shared Exchange calendar stored on a network server. It also has custom forms on separate tabs that I would love to be able to add information from the applicable record to. Is there a way to reference the exchange calendar and the specific tabs in the appointment?
