Noob Report

Hello World!!!! I am in need of a report which takes the information provided in my table using the User Name field to group all of a persons times logged, which is saved in a different field, along with the dates the person was logged on. Basically all of a persons information needs to be able to be pulled up for easy access to when and how long a person was on. I also need there to be a total time place on the report which will add all of the time of all the employees who are in the report. I have no idea how to do any of this, I know it will start with the Report Wizard but I don't even know what information I should have here. Any help will be, well, helpful

We don't know your data and table structures. You will have to make effort and then post something for us to analyze. Sounds like will be some Grouping & Sorfting with aggregate calcs. You already identified information you want on report now start building.

Ok, I copied all of the nessesary information to another database which i have attached here. Some things to know about this database and how it differs from my actual one.

1. the code for the login form needs to have the commented sections, the ' taken out to make the code work. I only put it there because of some problems I was having when trying to close the program.

2. in the Log-In Form in the strt_date text box, for some reason the proper time isn't being displayed at all, and as such, will not be recorded into the users table upon close. This isn't that big of a problem as the original is working fine.

3. One last thing that doesn't involve not having information, i need the user type section to, instead of being a text box, be a drop down box for the user to choose their type, e.x would be Student Employee.

so here, is this enough information? :P
