Command Button to populate field with value from a table

    Hi

What is the best way to get a Command Button to populate a field on a form with a value from a another table in the database?

    Thanks

Is the value a constant, or will it vary?

    The value will vary.

Basically I have a table with list of words. I want the command button to populate a field on a form with a word from that table which has not been used.

Why don't you explain the logic that you envision that is associated with this scenario. What you are asking is to open ended to provide an answer. How will you know which item in the second table needs to populate the first table. More information, please.
