Relationship question

It might be a silly question. I am not sure I understand Relationships. I am trying to create a client database that I can create new client information, then add additional info (different table since I will be exporting to excel from our software, then import to Access)



I know the first field will have ID as autonumber. Second field will have client's last 4 digits of ssn. My concern is this, if I create relationship from one table to another table with client id, would it cause issues if I have few clients that happen to have same last 4 SSN. As I understand, if I link it as key unquie, it will cause issues since it cannot be duplicated.

When I link two field together, does that mean the information has to be the same on both field? I would try to look them up online via google but it did not really explain in depth how it works. just that we can do this, etc. (I am deaf so I cannot hear them explaining in video)
