Exporting date field using MS Excel

I am learning to use access. I am importing date fields from excel. The fields are time stamped, which I don't want. How can I avoid the time stamp?

Depends how you are doing the import. If you are using the wizard, probably have to take them in and fix later.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
