    Reports and Colours

I have a large database of students and parents which charts their weight, waist circ., lifestyle etc. When I then create reports, is it possible to change the colour of the entry so that I can differentiate between students and parents results? In other words, can I have all student entries in red and all parents in black, for example? At the moment, when I try to change the colour of one of these, the entire column changes to that colour and I don't know how to amend my reports to do this. Please see attached.

Yes - It IS possible to differentiate between Students & Parents in the scenario you are describing.

Open your report in Design mode.
Go to Format - and then look for 'Conditional Formatting'.
Select a box [or boxes] on your report that you want the color chaged for.
    Click Conditional Formatting.
Put in the criteria you need for the box [If Parent the black - for instance].
Have you used conditional formatting before?

Thank you so much for this. I was unaware that it was 'do able' so I will now give it a go! I haven't used conditional formatting before.
