    Forms

I am creating an access database using Access 2010. I will be having multiple users and want the users to see a form only. How would I go about doing this. I am really just learning so please be kind.

    Thank you

You can set project properties so that users do not see the Navigation pane. Click File>Options>CurrentProject> make choices for settings, including opening to a default form. However, you will have to hold the shift key when you open project so you can make design edits. There are more advanced methods to protect the project but will let you discover that as you get more experience.

    Hiding portions of Database

Ok, so thats great. Now I have myself as well as 3 others that need to have full view. Myself for making changes as needed to the database and others that need other areas of the database. How would I do that.

Tell them to hold the shift key down while opening the project. Otherwise, explore more advanced methods of securing the db, such as password control. You could have a button on menu form that would reveal the navigation pane to users who provide password.

Exactly what other areas of the db do the others need? If they aren't doing design changes or programming, what are they doing?
