    tab control form

all. I am using access 2003. I have three tables which have relationships between them. I would like to create a data entry form for the three tables. Can I use one form with the tab control for the three tables? How? My vision is to keep the users from opening three different forms to input data. Also, I would like to auto populate some fields on the second and third tab form based on the first page. Ex. Page 1 of tab control contains invoice information. Page 2 should have a field to auto populate info such a the invoice num and control id from page 1. I hope I am making sense.
    Thanks

Useful info but I need an input form. This is a subform in datasheet view. Also can I use all three tables for a recordsource?

A form can only be linked/bound to one table or query. That is the reason for using subforms. When you use subforms it becomes transparant to the user that there are multiple tables. A subform does not have to be in datasheet view. You can design it so it has no borders and looks to be part of the original form.

Got it! But I can use a different table(recordsource) in a combo box and have it bound to the forms table(recordsource) correct?
    thanks

Yes, because it is still bound to the primary table. It's source is the lookup query.
