    Forms Help!

    Hey all,

I am new to Acess and I am running into a jam. I save my data in my forms and I see it save in the records at the bottom. Yet if I exit out and then go back to it it only shows 1 record, which is the current screen. The data is saved in the table and my data entry property is No. I am at a loss on this. I am using queries for my forms as well. Any help would be appreciated and I am using Access 2007.

How is the form opened? There's an argument in OpenForm that could be forcing it into data entry mode despite the setting. It could also be the query, if it includes a criteria that excludes the existing records.

I am opening it from switchboard as I have multiple forms and my SB allows my users to go to which ones they want to.

I don't use the built-in switchboards, so I'm not sure if the argument is there. How about the query? Can you post the db?

If you compact/repair and then zip, it will usually be under the 2mb limit.

Again, I don't use the built-in switchboards, but this is doing what I suspected. If you look in your switchboard table, all of the items have a "Command" of 2. In the macro, command 2 opens the form in Add mode. I assume that's something the wizard set up.
