More than one way to accomplish this.
You want to open the Excel application to a specific known workbook? Use the Hyperlink Address property of a Button.
You want to open an Excel worksheet within an Access form? I once tried this and didn't like the results. The spreadsheet was quite large and just did not view nicely.
