    Help with access

I am building simple database and am stuck. This is what i want my data base to do.
    • Enter employee name and employee number
    • Check inventory into warehouse (multiple of the same items but diff serial number)
    • Check Out Inventory to employees using their employee number (multiple of the same item but diff serial number.)
    • Check back in to wharehouse when employee returns.
The whole time taking from wharehouse to employee and employee to wharehouse

So all in all main Table to be the wharehouse inventory gets consigned to multiple employee then from an employee to the wharehouse.

Problem: I have created a table for the new employee and then I can figure out how to set up the database to run from there.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like a check-out/check-in application (like a lending library). Check out this Access template http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/te...010206883.aspx
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

When i try the Check In form it tells me it is not designed to run without a filter.
How do I add the filter?
    I am using access 2010

Check out filters. Post back if you still have questions.

I figured out that the check in form was apart of an action and could on be accessed threw another form. Consider it solved. Thanks for the help
