I need Help with developing database to be searched and updated

Hello everybody,

I'm in the process of learning Access and I'm running into a few problems. I was hoping somebody could help me.



I've created a table and an input form where the user inputs a date. The user would put in some of the information and the rest of the text boxes are left blank.
I also created a search form to find records and fill in the rest of the text box. When my user uses the search form, for some reason it changes the user name that was there. So first person that typed the information was Doe, John, than Doe, sandy goes back and updates the information sandy notice that Doe, John is no longer there. Why does access change the user name on its own??????



I really hope someone can help me out with this.

Post a sample of your database please. Just make a copy of your current database remove any personal/privacy information then zip it up and post it here.
