Question My Access Reports Have Disappeared

Hello. I am a new member. I am an Access beginner. I use Access 2003. I learned enough to write a database to keep track of my CDs. I wrote several reports, which have worked well for years. I got a new computer with Windows 7.

I transferred all my files successfully. Access worked well, all my queries and reports were there and I used them several times. Then, suddenly, my two reports have become unusable. Their names are still there, but when I click on them under Reports, nothing happens. I can still get to my queries, but not to the two reports I wrote.

Can anyone help me get the reports back? I have backup disks, but I don't know whether they can help me.

Have you got a printer installed? No printer means Access cannot render the reports.

I have a printer installed, connected to my computer, but I did get a new printer. Do I somehow have to let Access know what new printer I got?

I know in older versions of access, the reports retained the info of the printer when it was designed. Don't know if it still does that. Try opening your reports in design mode, change your printer settings, then save the report. That may do the trick.
