Field update field

Hi to all,
I hope someone can help please.
I have a subform with a table which has a part number, a part details, a date and an amount fields.
I have a seperate table with part number and part details

What I want to do is, in the sub form enter a part number and the part details automatically update with the relevent details.
I am sure it should be simple but I just cant work it out.



Any help would be apreciated.
