    form won't stay in restored down size

    i've got a simple pop-up form...

    and it simply refuses to pop-up in a "restored down" size; it insists on opening MAXIMIZED (I'm pretty darn certain that i've got all the format setting right, but maybe not?)

    many thanks in advance
    mark

    it always opens to the maximized format;
    i can restore down the size, but once there, it is not resizeable

    settings include:
    auto resize . no
    fit to screen . no

    * sanity check that the form property is indeed setting PopUp as 'yes'...

    * be sure property: Border Style is set to sizeable

    * you can enter a less narrow value in the Width property.
