Next record within a form

Hello, I have a command button on a form to go to the next record. If the current record is the EOF, the command will create a new record. What's the easiest way to display a message that their are no more records, and prevent a new record from being created.

Every form has an Allow Additions property on the Data tab of the property sheet. You can set it to no and see if that works for you.

Thanks for the suggestion, unfortnately that won't work for me. I have an add button on this form also.

Use the CurrentEvent of the form to disable the "Next" button when you are on the last record.

I understand what you are recommending, but I don't know how to program that. Can you assist?
