Tables/Queries/Etc Won't Open on Double Click

    All,

I recently had to access my database remotely while I was out of town and now I can't open anything (tables, queries, reports, forms, modules) by double clicking. It won't even let me double click to add fields while in query builder. Does anyone know the cause/solution to this issue?

    Thanks,

How were you accessing the database remotely? Was it via remote desktop connection or something like logmein.com? Or were you logging in as though you were part of your network? I've had problems where one of my work computers is at a remote location and runs access 2007 but my local computer runs 2003 and if I attempt to open a 2003 database remotely they have a tendency to behave peculiarly.

The only thing I can suggest is to make a copy of your database either by copying the file, or making a blank database and importing all the objects, then trying to do a compact and repair. The reason I suggest making the backup first is that if the compact/repair fails you will have a bitch of a time trying to recover the data without some form of backup.
