Exclamation Landscape Page header on a Report

    Hi,

If anyone can help with the below then that would be brilliant.

I have an Access Report that runs from a crosstab query, the report is in landscape orientation.

There are a large number of columns (that relate to specific items - i.e. crosstab query result columns) running along the top of the report, in total these cover the width of approximately two A4 landscape pages.

The left most column displays all of the row names, and section names etc., however this only appears on the first page (on the left). Is there anyway to repeat this column of row names and section names on every page on the left? This sounds quite simple (like a page header), however it is made very difficult with the landscape orientation and crosstab setup meaning it is part of the detail etc.

I have searched the internet and can not find anyway to do this.

    Thank you in advance.

    Alan

If you have fixed crosstab columns it can be done.

Set your page width to 52 cm. At about 26 cm put in your textboxes for the row names etc. again. You may need to juggle positions and margins a bit.

Set the number of columns to 1 and the column width to 52cm. Set the print order for the columns to across then down. (see attached screenshot)

    Hi Steve,

Thank you very much for your response, that was really helpful - it now works as I wanted.

I am not sure whether the column layout option had any effect, in that it is grayed out as only 1 column, but either way it works with it as you said.

    Thanks,

    Alan
