Live Import from my work DB to a purchased Invoice DB

I purchased an MS Access Invoice and Quotation system which will will suit our needs for the obvious task. The DB has come fully open. However all of my First Aid Training customers are in a table in my current DB.

I want to be able to live feed the customers in my table into the Invoice DB so that we can easily do up invoices for our customers and wont need to import an updated list every time we make any changes to the original table.

Just a heads up I don't have any experience in VBA.

I know how to live link a table from one DB to another. However the invoice database has a lot of tables, forms, reports, macros so I don't know how they are linked and coded. So it is beyond me how to use the linked live table from my original DB and set it up to work within the invoice DB.

There may be a simple solution to this issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Does the "Invoice and Quotation system" have a built in import facility?

It sounds like you will need to understand the db in order to import your existing data. Good luck.

Did you get any training or training material with your purchase? What documentation came with your software product?
Does the supplier offer any independent training?
As RG said, you have to understand the database in order to add/import existing data.
