Post Macro error Message - Command unavailable...

I am wanting to attach a refresh or Requery macro on an 'after update' action but it wont let me...

    Message:
The command or action 'Refresh' isn't available now.
*You may be in a read-only database or an unconverted database from an earlier version of MS Access
*the type of object the action applies to isn't currently selected or isn't in the active view.
Use only those commands and macro actions that are currently available for this database.

You would think this answers my question - but I am non the wiser!

    Please help

Which after update are you trying to use? The form's after update event or a control's after update event. And what are you trying to refresh/requery? And by the way do you know what the difference is between refresh and requery?

Please reply to this thread with any new information or opinions.
