    Help with Report

I am using XP with Access 2002. My database has one table because it only deals with monthly reports and their associated data. I use a query to pull data and then I run a report based on the info pulled by the query. My totaling is done on the report. The Query criteria section of ReportName is used to pull a specific report. The query DateRecieved uses criteria to pull only information for a specific month using BETWEEN.

My problem is that my specific reports need to show the total items received per month and the total items received so far for the year. I have sucessfully entered a formula to total the items per month. I am unable to pull the total items per year. How would I accomplish this.

    Thanks

Are you using the report Grouping & Sorting with aggregate calcs features? Textbox in report footer to Count the records.

I am not interested in counting the records. I need to sum the totals. I am sorry for not making myself clear. If I can do this with report Grouping & Sorting with aggregate calcs features I could use some guidence on how to do it.

    Thanks

Okay, then Sum instead of Count. Try Access Help for info on designing reports with Grouping & Sorting and summary aggregate calcs. I never used 2002 although it was probably much like 2003 which I started with but not an easy process to explain in a forum. Should be enough Help and web tutorials on this. Start with this resource http://www6.semo.edu/infotech/pdffil...AccessRpts.pdf
