and tell me what you think?
My team and I are basically constructing this from scratch and we are making progress but would love it if some pro could just give me some constructive criticism

Do you want to attach file or post link to file for download? Be sure to Compact & Repair first. Otherwise, just describe the specifics of data structure (tables and relationships).

compacted and repaired, any input would be much appreciated
Too big to attach, just under 1.5MB

Should be able to zip the project and attach the zip folder. I can't download from that site at work. Have to check it later.

AWESOME! here is the zip file
thank you!
Looks like just barely started with only two tables and two forms.
Table Rat_main has empty fields in some records. I would think that every field except Comments should be required. Room field no data for any record.
Table Rat_Dose has no date field. Also allows a lot of empty fields. For instance, shouldn't there always be an ID, Drug, Dose Vol etc? Not strict normalization of data but makes data entry simpler.
The form/subform arrangement looks correct.
Using spaces, special characters, punctuation (underscore is exception) in names can cause issues. Same for using reserved words such as Time as field names. If you do this, must enclose in [] when referring to. Sometimes Access will provide the [] but spaces will throw it off.
