    SysCmd() in ACCESS07

    Hi All,
    I saw a thread about using the SysCmd() to show the process of access, and I searched online about this but failed to find any suitable cases. They are a little more out of me knowledge.
    I was going to add syscmd() in my code to show that the record has been edited or added.
    Could somebody explain this or just give me a page I could learn?
    Thanks in advance.

    Yes, I want the status bar to show whether the record is new or the record is just edited, could that be possible?

    the status bar doesn't do that sir. not that I'm aware of anyway. that's not the purpose of a status bar in any application.
