I want to write some VBA so that I can copy the contents of one table to another table and then import new data.
I want do this so I can run a comparison report from the current week from the previous week.

Similar data should be kept in 1 table. You can use a couple queries to separate the data. Assuming that your records have a date field you can use that to separate the data.
